Yes. When you log in, you can test a demo number to see how the service works. Please don't use the demo number for sensitive accounts as it's shared among users for testing purposes only. For the same reason, verification codes on the demo number are hidden with *.

Yes. You can use the full WhatsApp app on your Paraguayan number, not just WhatsApp Web.

WhatsApp confirms a new number by sending it an SMS code. You simply receive that SMS in your ParaguaySMS dashboard, like any other message, and type the code into WhatsApp.

If you are in Paraguay, install WhatsApp, enter your number, choose to verify by SMS and type in the code from your dashboard. That's all.

If you are outside Paraguay, don't just try it. WhatsApp checks where your phone is, and it usually blocks a Paraguayan number that is activated from abroad. You have two options:

• Do it yourself on an Android phone. Turn off GPS (location) and connect a VPN to Paraguay that covers the whole phone. Then install WhatsApp and verify by SMS as described above. This needs some technical know-how. It doesn't work on an iPhone, because the iPhone's VPN doesn't cover everything and WhatsApp can still see where you really are.
• Let us set it up for you. We install WhatsApp with your number on a phone here in Paraguay. Then, in a short call, we link it to WhatsApp Web on your own device.

Once WhatsApp is activated, you can use it from anywhere.

Yes, with a few caveats:

• Your cédula must be in the government databases Ueno checks. That can take 1–2 months after you receive your cédula. If you're already registered for RUC, you're in.
• You may need a VPN to get through the sign-up.
• It isn't guaranteed. Ueno's sign-up is sometimes buggy, and the only way through is visiting a branch in person.

Yes. For the smoothest sign-up, use an Android phone with GPS turned off and a VPN on.

Uglycash sends its two-factor codes over WhatsApp, so you need WhatsApp set up on the number. Do it yourself on Android (GPS off, VPN to Paraguay), or we set it up for you on a phone here in Paraguay.

No. You only need a phone number that can reliably receive SMS messages. The physical SIM card is not required.

Yes. All SIMs are stored in a secure facility with 24/7 surveillance, physical access control, and monitored connectivity.

Every day we send each number an automatic test SMS and check it arrives. You'll see it in your inbox as "Automatic SMS from ParaguaySMS to check your phone is alive". If one doesn't arrive, we're alerted and look into it.

To avoid losing the number, roaming issues, SIM theft, or forgetting to keep the phone charged.

Sometimes a number is problematic because someone had it before ParaguaySMS (mobile providers reuse numbers). We never reuse numbers ourselves. If this happens, we offer one free replacement.

If an active paid SIM stops working, we'll refund your last 3 months of subscription costs. This guarantees we're serious about keeping your number alive. This has never happened. We've never lost a number.

Your account is paused, but we keep the SIM. The number usually gets recycled by the carrier after about 20 days, so reactivate from your dashboard quickly to keep it.

Your SIM stays with us. It can usually be reactivated within 1–3 months, but this is not guaranteed.
